• Which age groups can attend your courses ?

We welcome all ages from nursery through year 8 and upwards including babies, toddlers, young children, youths and adults of all ability levels.

    • What ability level is required ?

We offer the Learn to Swim program which is ideal for adults with toddlers and babies, young children and adults. It offers training and guidance for swimmers of all abilities and experience including non-swimmers, improvers and competitive swimmers of all ages

    • What is covered in the swimming courses

This varies according to the ability and fitness level of swimmer. For early swimmers this could include gaining confidence in water and developing safety skills such as floating, use of arms and legs and how to enter water. For the improver the focus might move to development of skills and technique. For the competition swimmer training would cover stamina, stroke development and breathing techniques

    • Do you have any more specialist courses for experienced swimmers?

Unique to Aquademy is our 1 hour Junior Sessions aimed at the older, more competent swimmer perhaps involved in school swim club or junior club swimming. These sessions focus on stroke and skills technique with some speed and stamina work.

    • Are there any courses specifically for adults?

We offer a range of coaching options for adults including beginner and improver courses and courses for adults over 19 years who wish to maintain and improve fitness, stamina and technique
